CardLab Access FIDO is designed foreffortless physical and digital access with the possibility to have bothsolutions available in the same product

The card provides offline Identityverification of the user, ensuring that only authorized users can gain physicalaccess or secure access to digital systems or resources. The card enablesPasswordless authentication by replacing weak passwords with secure biometricverification on the offline card. This will prevent almost all syntheticidentity attacks.

Biometric fingerprint data is encrypted andstored only on the card so there is no requirement need for databases withbiometric data having the inherent hacking risk that goes along with it. With NFCand/or Bluetooth interfaces, Access can serve as the authentication devices forany host platform including tablets, PCs, door locks, machine readers and otherterminals. and will provide FIDO logon function without special upgrades to thebackend as all is based on authentication API's. Only by presenting thecorrect, registered finger, can the card and any stored data be activated andprove your identity and release the FIDO logon or access credential.

The card dual function enables enterprises and organization to merge their IT and Facility Management into one system and control all rights in a unified system by installing the QuardLock Configurator tool with Active Directory and Identity Access Management.

As the card contains Bluetooth interface it also has an embedded rechargeable battery that can be charged via a contact interface or via wireless energy harvesting where recharging of the card typically will have to happen once a months depending on level of usage.
